The Strategic Events' Executive Team

SCOTT GILMORE
Scott Gilmore, President, formed Strategic Events in 1997 alongside his father, Jack. Previously, Jack was IBM’s Worldwide Director of Recognition & Marketing Events....so Scott grew up “in the business” - seeing some of the largest and most complex events of their time being produced. With an MBA in Marketing, Scott has considerable expertise in the strategic design and financial operations of total event production, and has been responsible for directing literally hundreds of recognition events, executive conferences, business meetings, and tradeshows. Scott has produced events throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia, and heads up Strategic Events' international projects. In addition, Scott has been awarded five Telly Awards for video production, and has been nominated for several other industry awards.

ROBERT GILMORE
Robert Gilmore, Director of Operations, joined Strategic Events following his graduation from Duke University. Robert represents the third generation Gilmore in the business. From a young age, he gained hands-on experience by working alongside his father, Scott, at events across the world. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, calmness under pressure, and collaborative approach, Robert has quickly become a trusted production lead on high-profile corporate meetings and conferences. His passion for the industry and commitment to delivering excellence make him an invaluable member of the Strategic Events team.

BINXIN "PHILIPP" CUI
Binxin "Philipp" Cui, Country Manager, China, officially joined Strategic Events in 2016. Philipp began working in the event business in 2005 as an Event Coordinator for CITS (one of China’s largest Event/Meeting/Tourism entities), and has worked on Strategic Events projects as a supplier since 2009. Previously, Philipp was the Marketing Supervisor for a large Mercedes Benz distributor, where he presided over several Mercedes new car launches. As Country Manager, China, Philipp brings years of experience and knowledge to our clients for their events in China and abroad.

FRANCISCO MORALES-CHAVIRA
National Account Director, Francisco Morales-Chavira, brings over a dozen years of experience in the live event industry to the Strategic Events Team. Francisco’s first introduction into live events was as a stagehand at some of the most iconic venues in Las Vegas. Francisco became the corporate production supervisor for MGM international in 2015. After his tenure at MGM International, Francisco took his experience in live events to LMG where he started his journey as a National Account Executive. While at LMG, Francisco managed a client portfolio that included Amazon, Microsoft, Fiserv, Arbonne, and others. Francisco continued his career as a Tour Producer / Project Manager at Premier Productions (A Pollstar Top 5 Worldwide Promoter) before joining the Strategic Events team.

Scott Tetreault
Scott Tetreault, National Account Director, brings over a decade of experience in live event and AV production to the Strategic Events Team. With a deep understanding of each facet of event production, Scott began his career in 2016 as an audio technician and soon advanced to a Technical Specialist role at AVEX/Sightline Productions, serving as the lead on-site AV liaison at the historic Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel. His tenure while at AVEX/Sightline saw him excel in roles including Project Coordinator and Operations Manager before moving into an overall Event Account Manager role (servicing the Strategic Events account for over 5 years), giving him a rare perspective that blends technical expertise with operational strategy & client management. Scott’s extensive equipment knowledge, combined with his background in shipping and logistics, strong labor management skills, and client-focused communication, ensure seamless event execution from concept to completion.

WANIDA "SUNG" ANUNPREECHAKORN
Wanida "Sung" Anunpreechakorn, Director of Exhibitions & Tradeshows, has worked in the events industry since early 2003. Sung began her event experience in project and client management for a well-respected exhibit design & management company and has worked on projects all throughout Asia. Sung was promoted to Director of Exhibitions & Tradeshows in 2008, and since that time has handled many Thai and international clients, such as IBM, SingTel, GE, and BUPA Insurance. Her attention to detail, excellent event experience, and "can-do attitude" position her as the perfect choice to head up your exhibitions or tradeshow projects.

WILAILUCK "OH" ANUNPREECHAKORN
Since joining Strategic Events in 2012, Wilailuck "Oh" Anunpreechakorn, Operations Manager, has worked on corporate events and exhibitions in over a dozen countries. Previously, Oh worked in logistics management, responsible for coordinating international freight shipments. This training has led her to be detail oriented, schedule driven, and budget focused. Oh’s positive attitude and always present smile ensures that our clients’ events run smoothly.
